Our most recent mission was just a month ago. In that short time, we lost another hero from that very flight, Vietnam Veteran Gus Tijerina. He shared some of his thoughts and photos from the trip on his own page, so we share it here. It continues to remind us why these missions are so important. It truly is the experience of a lifetime for these Veterans. Thanks to everyone who helps make that possible. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Tijerina. There's a few special people and groups we recognized at our last meeting. Atmos Energy provides our meeting space and Alice Bledsoe works all year long as part of our team. Rick Dickson representing the Ector County Sheriff's office. Thanks Mike Griffis and team. And our dedicated Chairman, Teresa Richard Galloway who works everyday all year round with no pay.
